REPORT MISUSE
It is very important to us that the vegan community and those employed by Vegan Founded registered businesses are able to give us feedback and report on any misuse of the Vegan Founded Trademark and of any breaches they become aware of and want to report.

We know that some concerns may be witnessed and want to be reported to us by employees of the registered organisation and be kept anonymous in the whistle-blowing process.
You can use our whistle-blowing contact form. We will require an email address that we are able to contact you on to acknowledge receipt of your raised concern, and for you to potentially help within the 'review and investigation' stage of this process. To remain anonymous, please use an email address that does not contain your name or position within your place of work.
Please only use the whistle-blowing form if you are employed by the organisation you are reporting to us. All others can go to our email address which is only accessed by two people at Vegan Founded and will be treated with the strictest of confidence.
It is important for us to note that we look into every concern raised against a registered business and the context of what you have reported may be used during our investigatory process to resolve the matter.
It is important for us to note that although we seek to certify businesses of being 100% vegan, Vegan Founded do not take responsibility for the quality of products and/or services provided by any business, individual and/or charity that is registered with Vegan Founded.
What happens next?
Once we receive a concern that suggests an organisation/freelancer is in breach of the terms and conditions to gain the Vegan Founded Registration, we immediately update the status of their registration to 'review and investigate'. We have 5 working days upon receipt of the email or form raising the concern to do this.
Investigation may take some time but we try to act quickly and efficiently to find resolution as fast as possible.
We then contact the organisation to inform them that their registration status is 'review and investigate' and request more details that may help us resolve the matter. We may also ask for evidence from all parties concerned to help with our decision.
The organisation or freelancer has 48 hours to respond to our initial email. If the organisation/freelancer fails to correspond a decision will be made without their input.
Once the investigation is finalised, Vegan Founded has 7 working days to make a decision and inform the organisation of the final decision made.
What is a breach?
The organisation/freelancer who is registered as Vegan Founded will have completed a thorough application form, read our terms, conditions and legal declaration and acknowledged by signing, that they have read, understood and will comply with our T&C's whilst registered with us.
